Abstract

ABSTRACT
Pile foundations serve to transfer structural loads to hard soil layers at a certain depth and are very important in the construction of multi-storey buildings. This study aims to analyze the settlement and bearing capacity of single piles in the Construction Project of the Faculty of Medicine, Soegijapranata Catholic University Semarang using three methods, namely the Mayerhoff method, Allpile, and dynamic PDA (Pile Driving Analyzer) testing. The data used include the results of soil investigations, foundation planning drawings, and PDA test results in the field. The analysis results show that the ultimate bearing capacity of the Mayerhoff method is 243.312 tons, the analysis with Allpile produces a maximum bearing capacity of 255.479 tons, while the PDA test results show a bearing capacity of 244.9 tons. The comparison results that are closest to the PDA results are the Mayerhoff method with a smaller difference of 0.64% and Allpile with a larger difference of 4.31%. The settlement of the foundation based
on the Mayerhoff method is 14.00 mm, PDA test of 18.9 mm, and Allpile is 7.82 mm, which is still within the safe limit according to standards. A comparison of the results of the three methods shows that the planned foundation meets the technical requirements for strength and stability. These results underscore the importance of validating the analysis method and field testing to ensure optimal foundation performance.
