Abstract
Pondasi merupakan elemen struktur kritis yang mentransfer beban
bangunan ke lapisan tanah keras. Dalam konstruksi gedung berlantai banyak, kombinasi pondasi sumuran, pile cap, dan tie beam menjadi solusi efektif untuk kondisi tanah berlapis dengan tanah keras pada kedalaman sedang. Tulisan ini membahas prosedur pelaksanaan ketiga elemen struktur tersebut pada Proyek rancang Bangun Gedung Departemen Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Diponegoro Semarang. Metode pelaksanaan dimulai dari tahap persiapan meliputi pembersihan lahan, pengukuran, dan pemasangan bowplank sebagai acuan dimensional. Pekerjaan pondasi sumuran dilakukan melalui penggalian manual
hingga mencapai tanah keras, dilanjutkan dengan fabrikasi dan pemasangan tulangan serta pengecoran beton. Pile cap dikonstruksi sebagai elemen pengikat antar sumuran dengan dimensi yang disesuaikan beban kolom, sementara tie beam
berfungsi sebagai balok pengikat horizontal yang meningkatkan kekakuan struktur dan mendistribusikan beban secara merata. Setiap tahapan pelaksanaan harus memperhatikan aspek quality control meliputi material testing, pemeriksaan dimensi dan elevasi, serta dokumentasi lengkap. Implementasi prosedur
keselamatan kerja (K3) menjadi prioritas utama, terutama pada pekerjaan galian sumuran dalam yang berpotensi tinggi terhadap kecelakaan kerja. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pelaksanaan pekerjaan pondasi sumuran, pile cap, dan tie beam sangat bergantung pada akurasi pengukuran,
kualitas material sesuai spesifikasi, dan kepatuhan terhadap prosedur teknis standar.

Foundations are critical structural elements that transfer building loads to hard soil layers. In multi-story building construction, the combination of caisson foundations, pile caps, and tie beams provides an effective solution for layered soil conditions with hard soil at moderate depths. This paper discusses the implementation procedures of these three structural elements in the Design and Construction Project of the Civil Engineering Department Building, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The implementation method begins with the preparation stage, including land clearing, measurement, and installation of bowplank as a dimensional reference. Caisson foundation work is
carried out through manual excavation until reaching hard soil, followed by fabrication and installation of reinforcement and concrete casting. Pile caps are constructed as connecting elements between caissons with dimensions adjusted to column loads, while tie beams function as horizontal connecting beams that increase structural rigidity and distribute loads evenly. Each implementation stage must consider quality control aspects including material testing, dimension and elevation inspection, and complete documentation. Implementation of occupational
safety procedures (OSH) is the top priority, especially in deep caisson excavation work which has high potential for workplace accidents. The discussion results show that the successful implementation of caisson foundation, pile cap, and tie beam
work highly depends on measurement accuracy, material quality according to specifications, and compliance with standard technical procedures.
