Abstract

Terdapat 5 sampel variasi
Grafik hubungan berat volume
kering dengan nilai koefisien permeabilitas menunjukkan semakin besar pemadatan tanah maka semakin kecil nilai koefisien permeabilitasnya.

============================================================

Soil also has permeable properties or the ability of the soil to pass water. Permeable soil will be a problem for structures that will be erected on it because water can flow easily through the soil. The large water content in the soil can cause the soil structure to not be able to withstand the load and eventually experience subsidence. This research will analyze the grain size of Rowosari mountain sand and analyze the permeability of Rowosari mountain sand with no additional mud content and with additional mud content of 2.5%, 5%, 10%, and 20%. The experimental work begins with the preparation of sand samples taken from the location of the sand mining area in Rowosari Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, Central Java.

The tests carried out include soil physical properties. Analysis of the physical properties of the soil includes testing grain analysis (Grain Size), testing soil properties, testing proctor standard and testing the permeability coefficient with the Constant Head method. There are 5 samples of testing variations, namely the original sand with a mixture of mud percentage of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 10% and 20%. The results of the Proctor Standard analysis showed an increase in the optimum water content at each percentage of mixing sand with mud. The graph of the relationship between the effect of dry volume weight and permeability coefficient shows a decrease in the permeability coefficient at each variation of the mixture
percentage. The permeability coefficient value tends to decrease at each percentage of mud mixture addition. The largest coefficient value is at a percentage of 20% mud mixture with a value of 9.409 × 10-4 cm/sec which is classified in the type of sand kelaunauan. The graph of dry volume weight relationship with permeability coefficient value shows that the greater the soil compaction, the smaller the permeability coefficient value.
