Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pada Awal tahun 2025 penulis dipindahkan tugas ke Kota Sekayu, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, tepatnya di Komando Distrik Militer 0401/Muba, lokasi kantor Kodim 0401/Muba berada di jalan Kolonel Wahid Udin, yang di depannya terdapat Simpang tak bersinyal. Titik ini menjadi salah satu lokasi dengan permasalahan lalu lintas terutama pada jam sibuk, yang disebabkan oleh adanya manuver putar balik (U-Turn) oleh kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak manuver putar balik terhadap kinerja lalu lintas di Jalan Kolonel Wahid Udin, khususnya di depan kantor Kodim 0401/Muba. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung di lapangan, meliputi pengumpulan data volume lalu lintas, perilaku kendaraan saat melakukan manuver U-Turn, serta perhitungan waktu tundaan. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997, Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2014 dan Pedoman Perencanaan Putar Balik (PPPB) 2005.

ABSTRACT

In early 2025, the author was reassigned to Sekayu City, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, specifically to the 0401/Muba Military District Command (Kodim). The Kodim office is located on Kolonel Wahid Udin Street, directly in front of an unsignalized intersection. This location is one of the traffic congestion points, particularly during peak hours, due to frequent U-turn maneuvers by motorized vehicles. This study aims to analyze the impact of U-turn maneuvers on traffic performance on Kolonel Wahid Udin Street, particularly in front of the 0401/Muba Kodim office. The method used is direct field observation, including traffic volume data collection, vehicle
behavior during U-turn maneuvers, and delay time calculations. The analysis is conducted using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI), 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) and 2005 U-Turn Planning Guidelines (PPPB).
