Abstract
ABSTRAK
Jl. Gunung Kelir di Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma Semarang merupakan akses
vital untuk logistik dan distribusi. Jalan ini menggunakan konstruksi aspal (flexible
pavement) yang kini mengalami kerusakan berulang, seperti retak, amblas, dan
tambalan tidak merata. Kerusakan tersebut dipicu oleh beban berlebih dan kualitas
konstruksi yang rendah, sehingga menghambat transportasi dan menambah biaya
operasional kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi perkerasan
eksisting, mengidentifikasi beban kendaraan yang melintasi jalan, serta
mengevaluasi metode perbaikan yang paling tepat. Metode yang digunakan adalah
deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan sistematis terhadap data volume lalu lintas
harian, luas kerusakan, dan nilai PCI. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini berfokus
pada analisis jenis dan tingkat kerusakan jalan, nilai indeks kerusakan, nilai beban
lalu lintas, dan metode perbaikan jalan. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan jenis dan
tingkat kerusakan jalan paling banyak yaitu lubang dengan rata-rata tingkat
kerusakan H (High) dan jumlah kerusakan sebanyak 20 titik kerusakan. Dari hasil
perhitungan didapatkan Nilai indeks kerusakan rata-rata sebesar 27,36 yang artinya
buruk (poor) dan nilai beban lalu lintas sebesar 178.853 dengan nilai ESAL Bulanan
rata-rata sebesar 30,762. Sehingga dari hasil analisis dan perhitungan diambil
keseimpulan rencana metode perbaikan jalan dengan cara rekonstruksi jalan dari
Flexible Pavement menjadi Rigid Pavement dengan mutu beton K-400.

ABSTRACT
Gunung Kelir Road, located in the Wijayakusuma Industrial Area of Semarang,
serves as a vital route for logistics and distribution. The road’s current construction
utilizes asphalt (flexible pavement) and has experienced repeated damage—such as
cracks, subsidence, and uneven patching—caused by excessive loads and
substandard construction quality. These conditions disrupt transportation
efficiency and increase vehicle operating costs. This research aims to analyze the
existing pavement condition, identify the vehicle load passing through the road, and
evaluate the most effective repair method. A quantitative descriptive method was
used, incorporating a systematic approach to data such as daily traffic volume,
extent of road damage, and PCI value. The discussion focuses on identifying the
types and severity of road damage, calculating the damage index value, traffic load,
and appropriate repair methods. The analysis showed that potholes were the most
prevalent damage, with a high severity level (H) recorded at 20 damage points. The
average PCI value was 27.36, indicating poor road condition. The traffic load
totaled 178,853 vehicles, with an average monthly ESAL value of 30,762. Based on
the analysis and calculations, the recommended repair plan involves reconstructing
the road by converting the flexible pavement into rigid pavement using concrete
with a strength of K-400.
